Oguz Ozan was born in Ankara in 1978.
After graduating from college, he attended Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry in 1996.
He received the PhD degree from Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Prosthodontics in 2007 where his PhD research was named “Evaluation of Planning Success of Implant Supported Prosthesis Guided with a 3-Dimensional CT Based Computer Software”.
His researches focus on “computer guided implantology”, “immediate loading in dental implantology”, “Digital dentistry” and “implant prosthetics” and his work has been published in major international journals extensively.
He is actively involved as a director and co-director in multiple collaborative research projects with other researchers from all over the world. As a lecturer, he has given numerous national and international lectures in his area of interest. Some of his researches were also awarded in different international congresses.
In 2014 he was elected to the board of directors of Computer Aided Implantology Academy (CAI) as general secretary.
Dr. Ozan is also a member of European Prosthodontic Association (EPA) and Turkish Prosthodontics and Implantology Association (TPID).
Currently, he is working in Near East University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Prosthodontics and his private dental implantology clinic. Moreover, he is also giving lectures at University for Digital Technologies in Medicine and Dentistry Luxembourg as an international lecturer.
Oğuz Ozan is married and has 2 children.
