Swiss Campus, the new study center of DTMD University in Berlin and Stans (near Lucerne) is responsible for the internationalization and establishment of existing and new study programs of the university in Europe as well as in Asia and the USA. This is associated with the development and implementation of forward-looking research and study projects in the field of digital technologies throughout the healthcare system.

Head and founding directors of the Swiss Campus of DTMD University are Prof. Dr. Hartmut Schröder and Prof. Dr. Urs Gruber. For the experienced university lecturers, digitization in healthcare is closely linked to a paradigm shift from an input orientation to a procedural outcome orientation. Teaching and learning are dynamically anchored in an open digital ecosystem of postgraduate professional development.

The goal of the Swiss Campus of DTMD University is to enrich the educational landscape in Switzerland and beyond in Europe by offering highly qualified academic continuing education programs. The starting point for this is five already established medical master's programs. Additional master's degree programs, such as the Master of Science in Integrative Health Promotion, are planned for 2023.

The Swiss Campus thus expands the postgraduate continuing education programs of DTMD University. The new institute specifically promotes the flexibilization of educational biographies on the basis of the European Qualifications Framework and ensures the continuous permeability of educational levels 6 (bachelor's degree), 7 (master's degree) and 8 (doctorate) as required by the EU Commission.

DTMD University is a private university under Luxembourg law, recognized by the state as an "Organisme de formation continue" in the field of university continuing education in healthcare and related disciplines. A special feature of DTMD is its orientation towards digital technologies. Its degree programs are internationally accredited according to the "Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area". DIN-ISO certified, DTMD University, like the Swiss Campus, is committed to the strict transparency, permeability and quality requirements of the EU Commission's Bruges/Copenhagen Process.
