Prof. Dr. Ata Anil graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of Istanbul University in 1987. After his graduation he worked in said faculty for 2 years in the Periodontology department.
Having worked in Oral Surgery and Prosthesis Departments at Mainz University during 1989-1990, he completed his PhD in implantology at Johannes Gutenberg University-Germany, in 1994.
In 1997, he became associate professor in the Implantology Department at Istanbul University.
During 2004-2007 he lectured implantology at Berlin-Charite University.
He also worked for Steinbeis University in Dental Esthetics and Implantology Master Programs.
Since 2010, he has been lecturing for implantology curriculum programs at the Chamber of Dentistry of Mainz-Germany.
Since 1990, he has been practicing mostly implantology and dental esthetics in Istanbul, Turkey and then acted as president of the Turkish Academy for Esthetics Dentistry during 2007-2013.
He became professor in Yeniyüzyıl University in 2015, where he allocated his full time to the master programs.
Since 2017, he has been working at DTMD University as vice-dean and brought out 30 publications, 6 of which are international.
He is a member of European Academy of Esthetics Dentistry (“EAED”) and German Implantology Association (“DGI”) and an honorary member of German Oral Surgery Association (“BDO”).

After studying dentistry (1984 to 1989) and working as an assistant professor in the Department of Periodontology at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Istanbul, she was an assistant professor at the department for Prosthetic Dentistry at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (1991 to 1993). After 1993 she worked as an associate professor and later as a senior faculty member with a focus on pediatric dentistry at the Department of Operative Dentistry, University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. She completed her dental doctorate in 1996, her habilitation in 2010 at the same Department. Since 2008 she practices dentistry in her private practice in Mainz and continues teaching courses and giving lectures in pediatric dentistry at the department for Periodontology and Operative Dentistry, University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. She is also the scientific head and lecturer for continuing education of the curriculum pediatric dentistry at the LZK Rhineland-Palatinate. She has authored more than 20 articles in peer-reviewed journals, has delivered many lectures at national and international meetings, and is a member of various national and international scientific associations, including the IAPD, ORCA and DGZMK.

Dr. Jan Behring was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1976. Following Dental School in Hamburg (1997-2003) he did his internship Wedel and Hamburg until 2005. He participated in a three-year EFP accredited post-graduate program in Periodontology and Implantology at the University of Nijmegen (The Netherlands) while at the same time becoming a partner the dental-office of “Behring and Partner” in Hamburg in 2005. Following his graduation from Nijmegen in 2008, Dr. Behring received his EFP certificate in periodontology as well as his master degree and became a visiting professor at the University of Nijmegen. Ever since, he is frequently active as a lecturer in continuing education in the fields of periodontology and Implantology. He is the author of several national and international publications.
Dr. Behring, who is married with two children, lives and works in Hamburg as a dentist and periodontists in his own dental office “Praxis Dr. Behring und Partner”.

Dr. Frederic Hermann completed his undergraduate studies at the alma mater lipsiensis university at Leipzig/Germany in 2002, where he also received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 2005.
Dr. Hermann was Partner in a Dental Clinic in Germany where he did an intensive training and continuing education in bone regenerative surgery, implantology and periodontics from 2003-2007. He is a Certified Expert in Implantology within the German Association for Oral Implantology and the ICOI.
International lectures and publications on bone regenerative surgery, implantology and digital dentistry are his focus areas.
Dr. Hermann launched his own multidisciplinary Dental Clinic (www.team15.ch) in Zug/Switzerland in 2007.
He received a master`s degree in “clinical dental CAD/CAM” after a 3 year master program at the university of Greifswald/Germany.
In 2016 he received the expert certificate in implantology (WBA) of the swiss society for implantology SGI.

Anton Sculean is professor and chairman of the Department of Periodontology and currently the Executive Director of the School of Dental Medicine, University of Berne, Switzerland.
Prof. Sculean has authored more than 350 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 30 chapters in periodontal textbooks and has delivered more than 400 lectures at national and international meetings. He is the editor of the book Periodontal Regenerative Therapy and guest editor of the Periodontology 2000 Issue entitled “Wound Healing in Periodontology and Implantology”. Prof. Sculean serves on the editorial board of 12 dental journals and is Associate Editor of Quintessence International, Clinical Oral Investigations, and Editor in Chief of Oral Health and Preventive Dentistry.
He has been a recipient of many research awards, among others the Anthony Rizzo Young Investigator Award of the Periodontal Research Group (PRG) of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), the IADR/PRG Award in Regenerative Periodontal Medicine, and the Distinguished Teacher Award of the European Orthodontic Society.
Prof. Sculean is past president of the Periodontal Research Group of the IADR, and of the Swiss Society of Periodontology and Past President of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). Currently, he is the president of the International Academy of Periodontology (IAP).
His research interests focus on periodontal wound healing, regenerative and plastic-esthetic periodontal therapy, use of antibiotics, antiseptics and novel approaches such as lasers and photodynamic therapy in the treatment of periodontal and peri-implant infections.

After studying dentistry in Kiel, I worked as a research assistant at the Clinic for Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine in Muenster. This was followed by a residency and joint practice at the International Training Institute for Dental Implantology (IFZI) with Prof. (NY) Dr. M. Lang, Nuremberg.
I founded my own dental practice DR. INGO VOGES & Partner in Hamburg in 1999. My subsequent focus laid on training and consulting in dental practices in Hamburg, Zurich, London and Helsinki on the implementation of modern treatment procedures in implantology.
I completed two master's degrees at the International Medical College, Muenster to become Master of Oral Medicine in Implantology and Master of Science, M. Sc. in Implantology and Dental Surgery.
Since 2018, I have been working as Medical Director of the IFZI and Supervisor & Trainer for national and international phantom taining courses in implantology.
As an honorary professor, I have a teaching assignment at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Department of Dental Technology.
Since 2020, I have been the head of the An-Institute "The International Training Centre for Dental Implantology" at the DTMD University of Luxembourg.
